Cricket U19 2013 - Mahanama vs Prince of Wales

Prince of Wales won by 8 wickets. FTZ Grounds Katunayake, 18-19 February

 Mahanama were outclassed in their encounter with Prince of Wales who romped home to an easy eight wicket win. Prince of Wales bowlers put up a fine performance restricting Mahanama in both their innings to below par totals. Prince of Wales were left with an easy target of thirty in their second innings to earn an outright victory which they managed for the loss of two wickets.

Cricket U19 2013 - Mahanama vs Dharmapala

Dharmapala on a first innings win. Surrey Village, 29-30 January

Pawan Devinda slammed a career best 200 and remained not out as Mahanama declared their first innings at 301 for the loss of 4 wickets. Dharamapala lost 4 wickets making 63 runs before close of play on day one but went on to earn a first innings win over Mahanama thanks to a brilliant know of 198 by Prashan Rathnasekara who put on a record 97 run partnership for the last wicket with Kushan Jayalath.

In hindsight Mahanama should have scored a few more runs before declaring their first innings which would have earned them an easy first innings win in instead.

Mahanama 1st innings: 301/4 in 63 overs (Pawan Devinda 200 not out,Thanula Wickaramasinghe 40, Tharindu Danushka 2/21)

Dharmapala College 1st innings : 329/10 in 116 overs (Prashan Rathnayaka 198 not out, Kushan Jayalath 27, Dulanjana  Seniviratna 3/76, Chamara Silva 3/37)

Mahanama College 2nd innings: 26/2
