Match Summary - 1st Innings win to Mahanama, Match drawn (Feb 2011)

Mahanama were deprived of an outright win as rain ended play in their match against Maliyadeva. Taking first lease of the wicket, Maliyadva scored 222 runs with Chatura Wanniarrachi shining yet again for Mahanama with 5 wickets. Janaka Dayananda chipped in with 3 wickets. None of the Maliyadeva batsmen were able to convert their starts in to a half century.

In reply, Pavan Devinda and Duleeka Tissakuttige made well compiled half centuries to steer Mahanama into a strong position and a first innings lead of 63 runs. 

Maliyadeva were 7 wickets down and holding a slim lead of just 62 runs when rain ended play early with depriving Mahanama of a chance to finish off the match.
